FAMILY HOLIDAYS · CASARES
A practical guide to a comfortable, fun and unhurried family stay on the Costa del Sol.
PLAN YOUR STAY →Yes—particularly if you want water, space and days without a rigid timetable. The Sauvage apartments sleep up to four and make breakfasts, simple lunches and early dinners easy. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are a genuine advantage when travelling with children.
A car is recommended, and this is not a hotel with a kids’ club. Its strength is freedom: lagoon time, a break at the apartment, the pool or a short outing. Children require constant adult supervision, while activities and facilities depend on resort rules, season, weather, maintenance and operations.

The aim is not to fill every hour. Alternate water, shade and rest so everyone still has energy for the evening.
Have breakfast on the terrace and pack a light day bag. A private kitchen makes it easier to handle different routines, preferences and allergies.
Use the cooler hours for a walk, sand play or time by the water. Kayaks, paddleboards and pedal boats may be available, subject to season, conditions and resort rules.
Return for food, showers and quiet time. The kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning and two bathrooms make wet clothes and family routines much easier.
Choose the pool, a nearby beach, a walk or a brief visit to Casares or Estepona. An early finish leaves room for a relaxed dinner.
Sand, short walks, accompanied splashing and a nap back at the apartment. Prioritise shade, avoid peak heat and carry dry clothes.
Games by the water and, when available and permitted, accompanied water activities. Explain the rules first and maintain adult supervision.
Paddleboarding, kayaking, photography, outings and pool time. The gym should only be used when current age restrictions and resort rules allow it.
Both apartments provide the essentials for a family of up to four. Compare their photographs and availability, then choose the space that feels right.
